I have added a new Diary to my website where you will be able to find upcoming exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops and other dates all in one place. Have a look here at my Diary
I will keep it updated as new details are confirmed, so it will be the best place to check where I will be, where you can see my work, and where you can come and paint with me.

Interpreting The Landscape — Online Workshops
All mediums and levels are welcome for my upcoming online workshop series with Winslow Art Center.
In ‘Interpreting the Landscape’, we will be exploring how to paint the landscape with freedom and confidence.
I will work from observation in oil and gouache, but you can work in your preferred medium. We will create expressive sketches and larger paintings while thinking about how to interpret the landscape rather than simply copy it.
We will look at how to:
Simplify and edit from nature
Build strong, dynamic compositions
Capture light, movement and atmosphere
Explore colour, materials and painting energy
The aim is to help you paint more instinctively, loosen up your work and find your own voice in the landscape.
Medium: All mediums welcome
Level: All levels welcome
When: Thursday 23rd and 30th July, and 6th August

Come Paint With Me In A Castle In Italy
Castello di Petroia, Gubbio, Umbria, Italy
In October, I will be teaching in Umbria with Winslow Art Center for an inspiring week of plein air painting among rolling hills, olive groves and the timeless beauty of the Italian landscape.
We will be staying in a beautiful castle, the perfect base for a week immersed in painting the Italian countryside.
Together, we will explore the joy of alla prima painting in oil and gouache, working with spontaneity and freedom to capture the light, atmosphere and mood of this extraordinary place.
Through quick sketches, painterly exercises and more developed studies, I will guide you as you respond to the landscape with fresh eyes and a lively brush.
Imagine painting on cobbled terraces as the Italian light drifts across centuries-old stone, with the scent of olive groves in the warm air. Each day is a chance to slow down, look deeply and connect with both the landscape and your painting.
Thinking Of Joining The Italy Trip?
If you have been dreaming of joining the Italy trip, and especially if you would like to stay in the castle, booking early is a must. Places are limited and spaces are filling fast.
It promises to be such a fun and inspiring week: painting, exploring and soaking up the incredible Umbrian light and atmosphere together.
When: 3rd to 10th October 2026
Where: Castello di Petroia, Gubbio, Umbria, Italy
Details and booking: Winslow Art Center Italy booking link

Buy Direct From My Studio
I will continue to add fresh new work to my website as it becomes available.
The New Work section makes it easy to browse the latest paintings and buy directly from my studio — just me sending artwork direct to you.
The changing weather has given me renewed energy, and I am so excited to be out in the fresh air with my pochade and plein air kit. There is so much to paint, and I am looking forward to sharing more new work with you throughout the year.
Keep An Eye On The Event Calendar
There is a lot happening, and I know it can be hard to keep track of all the dates.
That is why I am adding the new Event Calendar page to the website. It will bring exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops and painting dates together in one place. You will be able to find it here: Event Calendar or in the site menu.
Please do keep an eye on the website, Instagram and YouTube for updates as new details are confirmed. I hope to see you at one of my shows, events, workshops, or just out painting somewhere beautiful.
Lots of love and look after yourselves,
Lucy x
