In the six-page, step-by-step illustrated feature, I show you how you can paint a scene en plein air and then scale up and recreate it back in the studio.
The images and the words really do reflect my process of how I scale up. I painted a 30x40cm en plein air and enlarged it to a 90x120cm painting in the studio using my field notes and the original work. I then wrote the step by step feature so that you can follow my journey.
